Schohart control charts based on fuzzy quality

Abstract

The concept of fuzzy quality, which is based on the concept of fuzzy sets, can be used in most industrial environments. In this article, after introducing fuzzy quality, we will generalize fuzzy quality based control charts.
The generalized diagrams in this article consist of fuzzy control diagram of the number of defective items, fuzzy control diagram of the ratio of defective items and fuzzy control diagram of the number of defects in the inspection unit. The common denominator of all these graphs is the use of statistics on the number of defective / incomplete items, which is a function of a qualitative characteristic, and of course this qualitative characteristic is measured quantitatively based on fuzzy quality. When using these fuzzy control diagrams, there is a practical justification that the degree of poor quality (degree of defect / defect) of all defective items is not equal to each other. A practical example is used at the end of this article to better understand the content.
